Screencasting
I used Gemini Veo3 as my example for this project. The AI video and photo creator tool is impressive when it comes to video quality, but not great with voice and speech matching.

For my AI tool, I chose Google Gemini's Veo. This is a brand-new tool with Google Gemini3, which comes for free as part of the one-year free trial of Gemini pro for students. I used Loom to record the screen-casting. You can view the video here, and I will add it to my e-portfolio as well. Overall, the Gemini3 tool has immensely broad scope and capability as an LLM, but lacks the ability to create long-form educational videos. The AI video creator is limited in that the user can only create 8-second long videos, and a daily limit of three videos. As you can see in the two videos I prompted the model to make, there are some clear errors. The actual fidelity and resolution are nearly indistinguishable from real-life, but you can clearly tell it is AI when the video stops making "human" sense. Personally, I think this feature will be expanded upon in the future and become more robust and applicable for educational purposes. Right now, there is little you can visually educate on within the 8-second limit.
